Václav Jan Novák

Václav Jan Novák (born on April 5, 1897 in Prague)

a clerk who was arrested by the Gestapo’s executive office agency in Prague on religious grounds. Following interrogations and imprisonment in Prague’s Pankrác Prison he had been sent to the Terezín Police Prison in June 1944 and after several days spent there he was again transferred to the Pankrác Prison, and then his case was referred to a Prague court. After his sentence he was transported on October 24, 1944 back to Terezín, where he stayed until February 10, 1945 when he was released. He was kept in cells Nos. 21 and 6.

Nothing is known about V. J. Novák´s subsequent fate.
