Rudolf Bubník

Rudolf Bubník (born in Soběslav)

a Czech gendarme, assigned to the Police Prison in Terezín as an auxiliary guard from June 23, 1944 until November 6 of the same year. He served in an office attending to the phone and operating the telex machine. In 1946 he gave the Extraordinary People’s Court in Litoměřice a witness testimony on the brutal treatment of the inmates by the prison’s commander Heinrich Jöckel during the war.

Bubník´s subsequent fate is unknown.
