- art exhibition - works, sent to XXVI. year of the art competition - Hana Greenfield Memorial. The Czech Center in Paris and the Mémorial de la Shoah in Paris co-organized the competition in 2022 on the occasion of the handover of the EU Presidency to the Czech Republic by France.

- the ceremonial announcement of the competition results will take place on 9 June 2022 from 1 pm in the cinema hall of the Ghetto Museum (Komenského 148, Terezín)

The theme of this year's competition was both Paint and Survive.

Some prisoners of the Terezín ghetto, established in 1941 by the Nazis in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia for Jews defined according to Nuremberg law, artistically created. Many of them were still children and teenagers. Let's name Jan Burka, a native of Czechoslovakia who lived in France after the war and from whose book the name of this year's competition is  based. Or Helga Weiss, whose childhood work documented the ghetto's difficult living conditions. However, she did not have art even other than capturing testimony? Maybe for the children in Izieu, France, who lived here in separation from their parents before the Nazis deported them to Auschwitz?
Does it still matter today?

Participants in the competition, divided into three age categories, reflected on the above issues and created works of art, from which the most successful were selected for this exhibition.

The competition had two lines: for participants from the Czech Republic and France.
